Forks in the Air Mountain Bistro in Rangeley, Maine is proud to announce Steve True has joined the restaurant as Executive Chef. Chef True will oversee the kitchen operations and guide menu development for the award-winning restaurant.
Chef True is a distinguished and honored chef, beginning his culinary career at the age of 15 in restaurant kitchens across Maine. He was named Maine Restaurant Association’s Chef of the Year for 2014 following his 10-year tenure at 95 Ocean of The Nonantum Resort in Kennebunkport. Most recently he was chef at The Gingerbread House in Oquossoc. He’s a devoted teacher and mentor in the culinary field and a proud husband, father and grandfather. He resides in Rangeley.
Chef True will join General Manager, Karen Seaman as the restaurant celebrates its 4th Anniversary operating in downtown Rangeley. Forks in the Air offers small plates and entrees showcasing the Rangeley Lakes region through fresh ingredients from Maine.
